With stunning scenery and magnificent views, it’s an ideal tour to take as you arrive in resort and makes the most of your time in the destination.  Enjoy the magnificent views from the summit of the Great Orme, visiting historic St Tudno’s Church and driving around Marine Drive. We also visit historic Deganwy and drive you through a lovely Welsh Village and Mountain Pass and a drive around the medieval town of Conwy.

Our afternoon tea Tour takes in some breathtaking views as we drive you off the beaten track and on roads that run high above the Conwy Valley.  Discover tranquility of the Conwy Valley, visiting one of our beautiful hidden lakes. Afternoon tea is taken at a riverside cottage, which used to be a former medieval courthouse.  At Gwydir we take you to view a fine example of a Tudor courtyard house from the 15th century. Afterwards we go onto visit the riverside setting of a 14th Century Prayer House in the Woods.

Enjoy an afternoon’s drive to visit one of our historic medieval Castles.  Afterwards we visit the Smallest Cathedral in Great Britain and then there’s a visit to a quality country Antique showroom.  Rhuddlan Castle was one of Edward 1st great Castles.  Enjoy the views of from the riverside location from high up on the Castle Walls.  Enjoy a visit to St Asaph to see the unique Cathedral – the smallest in Great Britain.  Then we drive out into the country to visit a country Antique showroom, where there is an excellent variety of items at reasonable prices and there’s time to visit the tea room.

Ride on the oldest independent railway company in the World through the mountains of Snowdonia, then visit the Italian Fantasy village of Portmerion.   Afterwards travel into the heart of Snowdonia along the scenic rocky pass of Aberglaslyn, We stop at one of the prettiest villages in Wales – Beddgelert and continue up the Nant Gwynant Pass and the rocky heights of Snowdonia and travel the Llanberis Pass to where we stop by Lake Padarn.  A visit and photographic stop at historic Caernarfon is followed by a visit to Anglesey with photographic stops and an optional short walk to Church Island.

Witness and visit three outstanding medieval Castles at Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris that were part of the iron ring of castles built to subdue the Welsh by the English King, Edward 1st.  Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. Beaumaris Castle on the Island of Anglesey is the great unfinished masterpiece and regarded by many as the finest of all the great Edwardian castles in Wales. Mighty Caernarfon Castle is possibly the most famous of Wales' many castles.

Visit a former slate mine and village and follow the route of the slates on a train journey to the coast.  At the slate mine there’s the opportunity to go underground on one of two tours. Afterwards, ride on the oldest independent railway company in the World through the mountains of Snowdonia.  The tour then takes you to visit one of the prettiest villages in Snowdonia and then we drive the scenic Snowdonia Mountain passes to visit the Slate Museum at Llanberis.

Enjoy a visit to a medieval Castle and town with one of the best preserved town walls in the world. Then discover one of the best Gardens in the UK, providing stunning distant views of Snowdonia.  Travel along hidden country roads and through rural farmland and mountain woods to a beautiful and tranquil lakeside location hidden in the hills.  Take afternoon tea or a light lunch where The Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) visited. It’s a beautiful riverside setting in a former medieval courthouse. Afterwards discover a historic manor house from the Tudor period and then discover the14th century medieval ‘Prayer House in the woods’ – the literal translation of Betws-y-Coed. The day ends with a visit to the world famous Swallow Falls.

Visit and explore one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK – Bodnant Gardens. Afterwards, we visit a country Manor House from the Tudor period.  The house is set within a 10-acre garden, which contains some ancient cedars — one of which was planted in 1625 to commemorate the wedding of King Charles I to Queen Henrietta Maria.  Drive through Betws-y-Coed with a photo stop at the waterfalls and then further up the road we stop by to discover the legend about the Ugly House. We continue through the hills and mountains of Snowdonia and onto the Isle of Anglesey. We stop to visit Plas Newydd an elegant 18th-century house in a stunning location. Stroll through the gardens, enjoy views across the straits to Snowdonia.

Enjoy the spectacular views from the waters edge of the Menai Straits and distant views of the Snowdonia Mountain range. Tour around and over the famous Thomas Telford's Suspension Bridge. Visit a medieval church on an island.  Other highlights include a visit to historic Beaumaris and the Castle, Penmon Point, Stop for lunch in a beautiful old country pub, nestled in the corner of a bay in an area of outstanding beauty. Discover art and heritage of the island at Oriel y Mons. The spectacular Llynnon Mill which is the only working windmill in Wales and Anglesey. Southstack Lighthouse provides a spectacular vistas and visit the islands old capital – Aberfraw. Other options can include a visit to Plas Newydd the home of the Marquis of Anglesey and visit he town with one of the longest names in the world Llanfairpwllgwyn.

There is a spectacular area of North East Wales waiting to be discovered. The tour highlights include visiting Rhuddlan Castle, The Smallest Cathedral in Great Britain and a drive through the medieval market towns of Denbigh and Ruthin, through stunning Welsh countryside and a spectacular drive down the Horseshoe Pass with a short visit to Valle Crucis Abbey. At Llangollen the spectacular River Dee runs through the heart of the town. There’s a scenic canal, where you can take either a horse drawn boat trip on the beautiful Canal or a more spectacular two hour cruise through stunning scenery along the UNESCO World Heritage stretch of the canal, including the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Other options can include, The Llangollen Steam Railway featuring a 7 mile track with steam trains that chug along the spectacular Dee Valley. You can also visit the historic building of Plas Newydd, home to The Ladies of Llangollen and there are lovely scenic Riverside Walks.

In a corner of North East Wales there is the Llangollen Canal which is a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the 11 miles of Canal. On this tour, we drive you to rendezvous with a privately owned canal boat. The full day cruise takes you over the 70 feet high Chirk aqueduct, with the river Ceiriog flowing below. The canal winds its way through hills and ancient woodlands until it brings you face to face with the most spectacular site of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The Stream in the Sky is 126 feet above the river Dee running below and stands on 19 arches, spanning over 1000 feet. The aqueduct was built by Thomas Telford over 200 years ago during the Industrial Revolution. The cruise continues past Pontcysyllte towards the town of Llangollen and the canal narrows in sections to only 8 feet wide, where it is cut into the hillside with limestone cliffs soaring above..

Thousands conquer the summit of Snowdon every year, using no fewer than six main routes to walk up - Plus one which requires less effort.  The Snowdon Mountain Railway is Britain's highest rack and pinion railway and has been scaling the highest mountain in England and Wales since 1896. Today it’s one of the most popular attractions in North Wales, drawing thousands of visitors from all over the world every year. After you've caught the train to the summit, which is 3560 feet above sea level you can catch the awesome views (including Ireland on a clear day). After your return, we take you to visit the Slate Museum and then on a spectacular drive through the Snowdonia Mountains.
